Akita Castle Hotel “The Houkou Room” This is a renovation project of the largest banquet room in Akita Prefecture. The walls are decorated with louvers made of Akita cedar from one of the three most beautiful forests in Japan, and the floor carpet design inspired by the ears of rice is reminiscent of Akita’s famous rice production. The ceiling is decorated with patterns of kumikozaiku, a traditional craft of Akita, and illuminated with indirect lighting equipped with the latest color functions. We achieved a modern hospitality space with a “sensibility of Akita” in every corner that leaves a lasting impression.
秋田キャッスルホテル放光の間 秋田県内最大規模を誇る広さの大宴会場改修。日本三大美林に数えられる秋田杉を用いたルーバーで壁面を飾り、米どころ秋田を思わせる稲穂をモチーフにカーペットをデザインした。さらに、秋田の伝統工芸である組子細工のパターンを写し取った天井装飾を、最新のカラー演出機能を備えた間接照明の中に浮かび上がらせ、心に残る会場演出を可能にした。随所に「秋田らしさ」を感じられる、現代的なおもてなし空間を実現した。
